Burleson County Auditor's Office will be accepting applications for a Full-Time Assistant Auditor

The position requires the applicant to demonstrate organizational skills and have a working knowledge of computerized spreadsheets as well as proficiency in word processing. Skills in MS Office products such as Word and Excel are required. A skills test will be administered to interested applicants BEFORE an interview will be schedules. Successful applicants must be reliable, a self-starter, be able to work without continuous supervision, and be a team player. Accounting experience is required including but not limited to review of Accounts Payable and Payroll, asset tracking, grant management and various financial reporting. High integrity is absolutely essential.
Successful applicants of the position will be require to travel with possible overnight stays required for out-of-town professional training depending on location.
Maximum starting pay rate of $16.00 per hour will be considered based on experience with a maximum pay rate after probationary period of $16.50 per hour for Fiscal Year 2014.

Burleson County is seeking a full-time position of Environmental Enforcement Officer
Education and Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or greater. Must either possess or be able to possess a Designated Representative, DR, license through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and attend training to keep the license current while acting as the Environmental Enforcement Officer for Burleson County. Must be self-motivated and be able to work in a multi-tasked environment. Candidate must be computer literate with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Burleson County Clerk's Office is seeking a full-time position of Deputy County Clerk
: Scanning/Indexing of Official Public Records, Vital Statistic Records and Court Records. Assist with filing, general office assignments and customer requests along with record keeping and maintaining record preservation of all records. Cross-trained in civil and criminal courts and vital statistics records which will include entering, retrieving, updating information and resolving file processing. Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more at given times.
Education and Experience:
Must have a high school diploma and 2 years of responsible clerical experience to include familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system. Must be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked, ever changing work environment. Candidate must be computer literate (data entry, Excel and Microsoft Word), with excellent communication and customer service skills.
