Burleson County Recycling

Take the Beautification in Burleson County survey to let us know what matters to you!

Burleson County, in collaboration with Keep Burleson County Beautiful, will be temporarily offering recycling services at the four main precinct collection (dump) stations beginning Nov. 1. This pilot program will provide data about residents' interest in recycling. Please participate to increase the possibility of these services being offered long-term. Simply add a second bin next to your trash can and toss in loose recyclable items (bagged items not accepted). Bring that along when you drop off your waste for the landfill. Recycle clean plastic bottles, aluminum cans, cardboard, and paper during each site's regular hours. No dump permit? No problem! Pick up a FREE temporary recycling pass at the courthouse (available beginning Oct. 17). Not only is recycling great for the environment, it will help us keep the county's waste management costs low! This pilot program is provided with grant funding from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Brazos Valley Council of Governments.
